A credit card is required at the time you make a reservation to book your room. Your card will not be charged until your visit. Unless you book a pre-paid reservation.

Q. What is the reservations cancelation policy? Is there an early departure fee?
Room reservations may be canceled up to 48 hours prior to arrival (unless otherwise stated on special packages). Our early departure fee is the first night room charge plus tax.
Q. What are the taxes for a hotel stay?
All hotel bookings are subject to taxes including the Albuquerque Lodger's Tax of 5% and the NM Gross Receipts Tax of 8.125%. Please note: tax rates are subject to change.
Q. How do I make reservations for a group (family reunion, club, etc.)?
Call our reservations department at 1.855.997.8208 to make group reservations, or book online with your special code or group code provided by the group. If you are looking to book a group with a special rate please contact our sales department at 505.247.0708 or 1-855-997-8208 or by emailing chacosales@hhandr.com.

Q. Is there a minimum age requirement to make a reservation?
Guests must be at least 21 to make a reservation, or have an active military ID if under 21.

Q. Does this hotel have a resort fee and what is included with the fee?
A resort fee of $30 is added to the daily room rate. This resort fee includes WiFi, valet parking, daily newspaper, access to our fitness center, access to Hotel Albuquerque's outdoor pool and hot tub, in-room bottled water and snacks replenished daily.
Q. Can I purchase a gift certificate for Hotel Chaco?
Gift certificates can be purchased for any amount between $25 and $1,500. You purchase gift certificates here.

Q. What is check in and check out time?
Check in time is 4 p.m. and check out time is 12 p.m. (noon).
Q. Does the hotel have free WiFi internet access? How do I connect?
WiFi is included with the daily resort fee.
Q. Is there a business center?
Yes, we have a business center with internet access and printer.
Q. How do I print out a document from my computer at the hotel?
You can print out documents by contacting the front desk or accessing the business center.
Q. Can you help me check in for a departing flight the day before?
We're happy to help you check in and print boarding passes for your flight at the front desk.

Q. Does this hotel accept pets?
We are happy to welcome your traveling canine companions to Hotel Chaco. Our pet fee is $50.00 per pet per night, guests cannot leave pets unattended. Dog weight limit is 60 lbs.
Q. I want flowers, chocolates, champagne, wine or gifts sent to the room. How do I do this?

Q. Does the hotel have a place to exercise? What equipment is available and what are the hours?
Our fitness center is open 24-hours and access is included with the daily resort fee.
Q. Does the hotel have a pool?
Hotel Chaco guests are able to access Hotel Albuquerque's 25-meter outdoor pool open seasonally and outdoor hot tub open year round. Access to the pool is included with the daily resort fee.
Q. Do you offer connecting rooms?
Hotel Chaco does not have connecting rooms but our Terrace suite offers a living room with two adjoining rooms. For reservations please call us at 505-246-9989 or 1-855-997-8208.
Q. Does the hotel offer roll-away beds? How do I reserve them?
Roll-away beds are available for king rooms only. To make a reservation, please call us at 505-246-9989 or 1-855-997-8208.
Q. Do you have coffee makers or refrigerators available in the rooms? Is there a fee for these?
Every room has a coffee station and beverage center with a refrigerator with complimentary bottled water and snacks replenished daily included in the daily resort fee.

Q. How many people can stay in a room?
Up to two people are allowed in our king rooms and up to four people in our double rooms and suites.
Q. Do you allow smoking on the property or in the rooms?
This is a non-smoking property and smoking is not permit in the guest rooms.
Q. Do you offer ADA wheelchair accessible rooms?
Yes. Please specify your need for an ADA wheelchair accessible room when making your reservation.

Q. Does the hotel have a shuttle?
Hotel Chaco does not have a shuttle.
Q. Do you have onsite parking? Is there parking fees?
Valet parking is included with the daily resort fee.
Q. How far is the hotel from the airport?
The hotel is 8 miles (about 10 minutes) from the Albuquerque International Airport (Sunport). Take I-25 North and I-40 West to Rio Grande Boulevard, and head south. We are on the east side of Rio Grande Boulevard.
Q. What public transportation options are available in the city?
ABQ Ride is the city's public transportation system. The New Mexico Rail Runner Express is a commuter train to Santa Fe and other cities north (and south) of Albuquerque. There are several taxi services in Albuquerque. Ride sharing through UBER is available in Albuquerque.

Q. What is the weather like?
Albuquerque is located in the high desert. It is not as hot as Arizona, nor as humid as Texas. Days are warm and dry, followed by cool desert nights. We get very little rain and, when it does rain, it often clears up quickly. July is the warmest month, January is the coolest, and August is -- traditionally -- the wettest month of the year.
Q. What should I wear when visiting?
In general, during the summer months, dress for comfort for the activities you are planning and bring a light sweater or jacket for the evenings. It can get cool even in the summer months. Winters run colder, so be sure to bring something warm to wear. If you are planning on going to the mountains, know that temperatures drop considerably at the higher altitudes.
Q. What should I pack?
Our low humidity and high altitude means you'll need to stay hydrated when visiting. We recommend you bring along sunscreen, lotion and lip balm. Don't forget to drink lots of water to stay hydrated throughout your visit.
Q. What are the nearby attractions and things to do?
We're located in the heart of Old Town within walking distance of seven museums, botanical gardens, the aquarium and 100+ shops and galleries. There is no better location to stay at when visiting Albuquerque.
Q. How large is Albuquerque?
Albuquerque is spread across 190 square miles of land with a growing metro population of 800,000+ residents.

Q. How many people can be accommodated for a meeting or wedding at this hotel?
Hotel Chaco can accommodate events on site of up to 150 people. Our adjacent sister property, Hotel Albuquerque has a variety of meeting spaces to accommodate functions of various sizes depending on the set of the room. We can accommodate weddings of up to 1,000 people or meetings that are 1,500 attendees or larger.

Daily room service is offered from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Q. Is breakfast included with my room rate?
Breakfast is not included with a regular booking unless you are booking a special package that includes breakfast in the rate.
